Spend the day in Beautiful Mount Vernon, Ohio. On Saturday, August 12th, 2023, Ohio Eastern Star Service Dogs is partnering with the Mount Vernon Music & Arts Festival for a 1k Dog Walk in Downtown Mount Vernon.
The first 100 preregistered participants will receive a 2023 commemorative T-shirt. Please indicate size when registering.

One of our biggest events of the year is coming!
Our Annual Mount Vernon Music & Arts Festival Dog Walk Event In partnership with the Ohio OES Service Dog Project, A Service Dog 1k Walk.
The Ohio OES Service Dog Project raises awareness of the benefits of Service Dogs around the state of Ohio.
The Ohio OES Service Dog Committee holds fundraisers throughout the year to raise funds. These funds collected go to help organization throughout Ohio such as Healing Companions, Inc. (https://healingcompanions.org/) and W.A.G.S. 4 Kids (https://www.wags4kids.org/). As well as “4 Paw 4 Ability”
(https://www.4pawsforability.org/ ) . We support many organizations around the state of Ohio that help provide Service Dogs to qualifying individuals. We have also helped police departments in funding K9 Units such as Alliance Police Department. We have supported Search and Rescue teams such as JD Aumann from Circle Tail (https://circletail.org/) and Springfield Township Fire and Rescue to name a few.
